Analytics privacy
When you choose to share usage analytics, Rainlayer records app interactions, listening positions within the fictional audio scene, listening duration and local time, feature settings, broad audio-output categories, and app version. These records are linked to your RevenueCat subscription customer ID and an app-generated installation identifier.
Microphone audio, environmental sound profiles, GPS location, contacts, and headphone or Bluetooth device names are not collected by this analytics system.
Data is sent in small batches to Rainlayer’s first-party service hosted by Cloudflare. Subscription events are received from RevenueCat. The data helps identify confusing journeys, useful features, and product improvements. It is not used by this system for cross-company advertising.
Sharing is off until you enable it. Change your choice in Rainlayer → Settings → Privacy. Turning sharing off stops new behavioral collection and clears usage records still waiting on that device. It does not cancel a subscription or automatically remove records already received.
Detailed behavioral records are retained for up to thirty days, subject to deletion-job scheduling and bounded outage recovery. Financial subscription records are maintained separately. Contact Rainlayer support using the in-app support option to request deletion of received usage history; include the customer ID already shown by that support flow.
This supplement describes the first-party analytics feature. The app’s linked Privacy Policy covers its broader privacy practices. Data collection and service availability may vary by app version.
